When A Defining Moment Comes Along, Either YOU Define The Moment, Or The Moment Defines YOU

There are many times that defining moments (games, presentations, competitions, etc) in different areas of your life come along.

The question is………

Will you be ready ? Or caught off guard ? Hitting the books or the bottle ? Using your head or a gun ? Conditioning Yourself or Succumbing to Your Conditions ?

Sometimes you are prepared for the moment. Sometimes you are prepared, but don’t know when the moment will come along. Sometimes you aren’t prepared. Whatever way it is, You have that opportunity, that defining moment. Don’t let it overawe you, relax, breathe, if things don’t go your way, don’t give up, reset, then try try & try again, don’t stop trying until it is over.

The result, “Will the moment define YOU”?

Win Lose or Draw, if you’ve handled the moment, haven’t lost your nerve, given it everything you have, you have won. If you show respect to your opponents, carry yourself with dignity, be humble, you will win, win the respect of everyone around you, your competitor & your peers. That is sometimes more important than the actual event itself, or could be the defining moment in disguise.

Have no regrets, when the moment or opportunity comes along, don’t make excuses why not to have a go, or participate. The pain of regret is worse than the pain of losing. Even if you don’t think you can win, just by showing up, you have a shot at winning, have a go.

With the experience you gain, who knows what opportunities this “defining moment” can lead to !
